Loca for LOKA....

Saturday July 15, 2017 This girl walked into a bar...

I walked into The Foundry located in Jackson, MI with the purpose of giving my favorite guys from BlackFront Ink some love. However, I wasn't prepared to turn into a teenage fan girl. BlackFront Ink was set to open for Another Lost Year and on the ticket was Handsome Pete and LOKA a band out of Japan. Of all of the bands on the ticket I was only familiar with BlackFront Ink (They will be the focus of many posts so I'm not going into too much right now) I love finding new music and since I am eclectic when it comes to music I am open to many genres. After BlackFront finished their set, 4 slender men took to the stage and began setting up. I was intrigued by the blonde man who stood out from the other 3 men.

Then the beat dropped...
With an electronica sound remininscent of KMFDM, the blonde man took his place behind the drums. That was it. It was all over for me.

Their set started hard and fast and they managed to keep the pace through out the set. I was done for...Loca for LOKA. If you have time check out these guys and I promise you won't be disappointed. Stick tossing, Guitar twirling, hard hitting, rock entertainment!!!
